Something so small such as eating foods in a certain order is something everyone can do in situations they cannot escape…however, being “stuck” or “trapped” usually is not as definite as one may think. Always hold onto the idea that no matter what, things can change for the better, and if they don’t, you can move on.

Hi, when I was just 18 I sustained a TBI. I had less than a 1% chance for survival, I could not walk or talk and I was in a comma for 2 months. It’s a miracle that I even lived. Though I longed for an ordinary life. Living on my own, working, marriage, kids, being able to drive. the accident occurred in 1999.
I spent many years feeling sorry for myself, developed a serious drug problem and continued to be the victim in my life.
I still deal with minor physical disabilities and my walk is a bit unsteady due to my balance. Only now I eel differently about those things.
I’m not a victim, rather proud of my life experience. I could certainly choose to be trapped by circumstance, instead I choose a much harder road. I live an ordinary life, I ski, I work out at the gym daily, I work and I have a wonderful peer group. In the fall I’m starting my BComm.
