That is a very interesting comment about the nervous impulse to inflict a little bit of pain in order to trigger the body’s response.  I think that is part of what is behind my head-scratching and eczema problem.

Hello! I’ve been pulling out my hair since I was about 14 years old. It started with my eyelashes, and over the years it has gradually increased from my lashes to brows, and now hair. Since I can recall, I have never been able to completely stop pulling, I can only stop myself from pulling out of one area at a time, and then go back to another. I’ve been on a few different websites and seen a lot of different tips, and I’m going to make a huge attempt to try these things out and see what works best. Can’t wait to share.

PLease help I can’t seem to stop pulling out my hair everything seems to be the trigger. I just can’t stop and it really irrates me. I used to have thick beautiful hair, I don’t even remember what that feels like. I really need help, I can’t afford hypnosis even though I’m very interested it besides more than obvious reasons. Plase if anyone can help me to stop I’d be so appreciated.
